Queensland Sea Scallops is an Australian family-owned business dedicated to providing consumers with the highest quality of Sea Scallops.

We are ideally located in Bundaberg, Queensland, at the southern end of The Great Barrier Reef, taking advantage of the Reef’s pristine waters and sub-tropical climate which enables year round production.

The QSS site consists of a state of the art hatchery and nursery, as well as a number of seabed leases located in Hervey Bay. Once our scallops have spent time in the hatchery and nursery, they are released in Hervey Bay’s pure waters to reach maturity, before being harvested.

Queensland Sea Scallops is dedicated to providing sustainable seafood as well as preserving Australia’s beautiful natural environments. By spawning and growing our own product we are taking some of the strain off Australia’s diminishing wild seafood and the effects of over fishing.

QSS products and services are extensively tested to meet Australian Standards.

We exist to produce the highest quality seafood to order year round from a “world’s best practice” facility located in the world’s finest marine environments.
